Bloor Homes, one of the largest privately owned house builders in the country, has announced that it is bringing forward proposals for Phase I of Halsnead Garden Village.

The plans will deliver high-quality new homes and open space to the south of Whiston to the south of Whiston as part of this ‘gateway’ phase of the Government-backed Garden Village for the area. However, only by working with the community can Bloor Homes deliver the new homes that are needed locally and within the Liverpool City Region, as well as deliver a variety of benefits for existing residents.

Bloor Homes is committed to listening to existing residents by undertaking meaningful and effective consultation when proposing to build new homes. With this in mind, we want to engage with the people of Whiston to allow the local community to help shape the final plans.

Have your say

Before submitting a planning application to Knowsley Borough Council, we want to hear the views of local people. What do you think about our proposals? What type of properties would you like to see delivered at Halsnead Garden Village? What issues would you like us to consider in preparing our plans? What do you like or dislike about our initial proposals?

Now is the time to have your say and let us know your views as we develop our plans.

This website provides information about our comprehensive vision for Halsnead, so please take some time to look through all the different pages to understand why we are making these proposals and to find out how you can contribute to shaping our final scheme.

This is your chance to be part of designing what is built on the site and how it will look, so take the opportunity to have your say by completing a feedback form here. If you’re also interested in a new home at the site, you can register your details here and we’ll keep you updated as the plans progress.
